
These burgers are easy to make and have a lot of flavour. We try and eat vegetarian at least twice a week. These are fantastic fresh but can also be frozen.
2 Cans Black Beans – drained, rinsed and divided
1\2 Green Bell Pepper – finely chopped
1\2 Red Bell Pepper – finely chopped
1\2 Medium Red Onion – finely chopped
2 Cloves Garlic – chopped
2 Tablespoons Oil – divided
1 Teaspoon Cumin
1\2 Teaspoon Chili Flakes
1\2 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 Teaspoons Fresh Parsley
1 Large Egg
1\2 Cup Breadcrumbs
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Toppings of your choice
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in Sauté pan over medium heat, add peppers and onions. Cook until slightly browned 4-5 minutes
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
- In the bowl of food processor, add cooked vegetables, beans, cumin, chili flakes, smoked paprika, chili powder, worcestershire sauce and parsley. Pulse until combined
- Pour contents of processor into a bowl with the remaining beans, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to taste, mix well until combined.
- Using ice cream scoop, form into patties, makes between 6-8 patties
- Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat, cook burgers 4-5 minutes per side until slightly browned and heated through
- Serve on your Favorite Bun with the hamburger toppings of your choice.
